As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, crying loudly, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’ 28They went right into the house where Jesus was staying and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe that I can make you see?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord, we do.” 29Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” 30Then their eyes were opened, and they could see! Jesus sternly warned them, ‘Don’t tell anyone about this.”’ 31But instead, they went out and spread his fame all over the region.
Is there anything shocking that you find in this passage? Think about WHY you feel shocked.
Imagine you are one of the blind men coming to Jesus. Would you have dared to follow Jesus into the house where he was staying? Would you have expected Jesus to heal you? Would you have kept your mouth shut and not told anyone what Jesus had done for you?
What do you want to ask Jesus to do in your life? Ask Jesus.
What do you want to ask Jesus to do in your local church community?
What do you want to ask Jesus to do in the people of Solihull?
