The Junction

The Junction meets every Sunday at 9.15am (except for the 2nd Sunday when it is all Age) in the main hall of the Oliver Bird Hall (just behind the Church) with groups for children and adults and is designed to meet the wide ranging needs of all families with the aim to enable everyone to grow in faith and commitment- in a forum that suits them best.
Children under 4 must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
A short service is held which is designed to be accessible , engaging, informal and participative and includes songs, prayers and a bible story.
Everyone then divides into the following groups:infant school children do activities relating to the theme of the day under 4s do activities appropriate to their age an adult bible study is run for parents

Rock Solid Café (junior school age children)
Meet at 9.15am in the main hall of the Oliver Bird Hall then move after opening songs and prayers into Room 5 in the Oliver Bird Hall for age appropriate activities.

All the groups join the church building congregation at approximately 10am to receive Holy Communion or a blessing.

All Age Worship
On the 2nd Sunday in the month children join the rest of the congregation for all age worship in church. The band plays a mix of contemporary and traditional hymns and songs. The service starts at 9.15am (yes, we know it's early but at least you have the rest of the day available to you!) and includes the Eucharist (i.e. bread and wine). Large screens are often used as part of the presentations.
