Within the Solihull Team parish we want children to enjoy coming to church and to learn about the many different ways they can worship. We aim to broaden the definition of church so that it is more accessible to today’s busy child. We believe that our midweek services and special events throughout the year are as valid an opportunity to worship God as are our Sunday services.

A large team of people from across the parish are involved in helping children to worship and to learn more of Jesus, often in fun and active ways. Every one is checked by the Criminal Reference Bureau for Child Protection purposes and a full Child Protection Policy is in place. We take the safety of children whilst they are in our care very seriously. We aim to make every child feel welcome and safe, whatever their needs. Every child, made in God’s image, is special to us.

Each of our churches has teams leading Sunday Club, Toddler services and other regular events, all of whom would be very willing to discuss how they can meet the needs of your child. Parish-wide events are overseen by our two part time children’s workers, Linda Hicks and Sue Chandler, working with the Director of Children’s Ministry, Revd Margaret Jones.
