St Alphege Pre-School is entirely self funding

We are very fortunate to have Church of England Voluntary Aided Schools in our parish.

St Alphege Pre School
St Alphege Pre-School  is a very successful pre-school which caters for up to 26 children from two and a half years up. It meets for five sessions each week in the hall just next to St Alphege Church.

The Pre-School has recently had an Outstanding report from Ofsted. An Investors in people award was received in mid-2007.

Situated in the heart of Solihull within the grounds of St Alphege Church, the Pre-School was first established in 1968. The Pre-School prides itself in offering a caring, stimulating and safe environment where children are individually valued and their needs are met.

St Alphege Pre-School offers ‘sessional’ (part-time) care and is registered to receive 2 & 3 year olds by the EYDCP (Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership). The school is inspected by OFSTED (Office for Standards in Education).

It is managed by a committee which is formed by parents of the Pre-School children.

The six staff are well qualified and four have attained NVQ III (or above) level in Children & Education.
