St Michael's Church

We are sure that you will find a friendly welcome at St. Michael's. We try to make church an enjoyable experience for all, whether it's the first time you've been, or whether you've been coming for years!

Our main activity is to worship God together, which we do on Sundays (at Sharmans Cross Junior School) and Wednesdays (at St Michael's Chapel, Bryanston Road). There are also events and activities for all ages throughout the year.

St Michael’s is a very welcoming and friendly church. The church congregation covers the complete age span, with all ages equally welcomed with open arms.

We enjoy singing all kinds of hymns and songs, ranging from traditional hymns to the latest children’s songs. Our music is accompanied by a range of instruments including piano, guitar and, at All-Age services, a small band.

During the week a regular Holy Communion service is held at St Michael's Chapel (Map), which is next to the vicarage at Oak Cottage in Bryanston Road. It is here that other meetings, services and activities are held.

We also meet for reflective worship, group discussions, social events, and learning about our Christian faith. There are activities for children, parents and toddlers and children’s uniformed groups.
