Firstly, please note that clocks go forward by one hour on Sunday 25th March!

Here are the events for families with younger children in late March and April.  By way of introduction, 22nd April marks the millennium of the matyrdom of St Alphege (St Alphege was Archbishop of Canterbury and was killed by the Danes for refusing to hand over money for the poor).  There is going to be a Eucharist at The Junction (in the OBH) on that day which will be presided over by the Bishop of Birmingham. Please do come if you can, and it would be very helpful if you could be there by 09:10 for this important occasion.

To help us prepare for the 22nd we are also having a a Eucharist at The Junction (in the OBH) on Palm Sunday (1st April).  Please note that as per our our normal practice we meet in church on Palm Sunday, there is a short service before we move to the Oliver Bird Hall.

The Junction: 1st (meet in church), 15th, 22nd (St Alphege millennium) and 29th April at 09:15  Oliver Bird Hall
A service for families with younger children, parents / guardians and children aged 0 to 11.  There is a short service with songs, prayers, live music and bible story before dividing into the following groups:

• under 4s (Gems).
• infant school children (Pebbles).
• junior school age children (Rock Solid).
• discussion group for parents, bring your child if you want, it does not matter if you need to leave part way through.
• at approximately 10:00 am there is a prayer and we all move to church for communion.
• except that the service will be different on 1st and 22nd April, with more limited craft activities and we stay in the Oliver Bird Hall and do not move church.

Good Friday - Exploring the Cross  Friday 6th April 9.45  Church 
A special interactive service for all ages to explore the meaning of Good Friday.

All Age Worship: Easter Day (8th April)  09:15   Church
With the band.  Please do try and come on this most important day of the Christian calendar.

Daddy and Me: Saturday 31st March  10.30  Oliver Bird Hall

Children's Praise: Thursday 26th April  2:00 pm  Church
An event for babies, toddler and pre-school aged children and their parents/carers, combining informal worship and other activities.  Contact Elaine Diskin Tel 705 3265 or Alison Pratt aepratty@aol.com or Tel 711 3889 for more information. Or just come along.

Prams to Pre-school Praise and Play: Friday 23rd, 30th March, 27th April  09:30  Oliver Bird Hall
