about St Michael's church

St M Chapel Pic

St Michael’s is a very welcoming and friendly church. The church congregation covers the complete age span, with all ages equally welcomed with open arms.

We enjoy singing all kinds of hymns and songs, ranging from traditional hymns to the latest children’s songs. Our music is accompanied by a range of instruments including piano, guitar and, at All-Age services, a small band.

Regular social activities are arranged ranging from a walking group to evening entertainment, with highlights being the summer fete and summer social event which also help us on our journey of faith together.

What else?

During the week a regular Holy Communion service is held at St Michael's Chapel, which is next to the vicarage at Oak Cottage in Bryanston Road. It is here that other meetings, services and activities are held.

We also meet for reflective worship, group discussions, social events, and learning about our Christian faith. There are activities for children, parents and toddlers and children’s uniformed groups.

We also hold an annual Garden Party, Christmas Carol Service and Crib Service.
