Welcome to our humble little site. Here you will find information on all things associated with the youth work in the parish. In brief this entails events and activities happening throughout the parish in each of the church districts. The base of operations can be found next door to the Parish Office in the Oliver Bird Hall behind St. Alphege Church. Here you will find the youth team hard at work planning, preparing, organising, discussing and drinking tea!

So let's introduce you to the team:

Will Mathers is the Parish Youth Worker. Coming straight out of university he has burst on the scene with a taste for fine coffee, heavy metal music and the X-Files. Though in his calmer moments God takes centre stage.

And Lynn Smart is our valued Admin. Assistant who is ever recycling and bringing order to the mounds of paperwork and emails. Preferring tea with no milk she is partial to a biscuit of two on the side.

There is lots going on this term. It’s packed with stuff to get involved in. There’s the Growth Groups, Prayer Group, a social every month and the Christmas Masquerade Ball (wahoo!!).

The Sunday morning groups G&T, HCB and Club One will continue to meet at their different churches. Also this term sees the start of a new monthly Sunday evening service, 'the space', for young people and adults, and the beginning of the Growing Leaders Youth Edition course. Look out for more information about all this throughout the term.
