Women’s Theology Groups

If any women are interested in joining our group then please contact Avril, Nicola or Lizzie at: womenstheology@gmail.com.

The Women’s Theology Groups started meeting in September 2018 and so far we have enjoyed discussing a wide variety of topics. We have looked at challenging passages in the Old Testament, St Paul and Junia (an outstanding apostle), Mary’s Annunciation and Magnificat, Hagar and Sarah, Elizabeth, Rahab and the women at the tomb.

As part of our Bible Studies we have been exploring what it means to be a woman and a disciple in our own lives. We have been praying and thinking about our own Spiritual Gifts and where we have seen God moving in our lives. The groups are safe spaces for exploration, discussion and even disagreement.

It is a really exciting time to be a disciple in Solihull and I very much encourage women to contact me and join a group!

We have three groups:

Thursday 1pm, café at the Core Library, Solihull town centre

Thursday 7.30pm, Room 5, Oliver Bird Hall

Friday 10am, café at the Core Library, Solihull town centre
