The Oliver Bird Hall is a popular venue for all kinds of local groups and events.
It consists of the Main Hall which can seat up to 120 (if seated at tables) or can take up to 150 for dance events. There is an outdoor patio area, and bouncy castles can be accommodated.
A smaller space, Room 1 can accommodate up to 40 people and has a lovely enclosed outside decking area. Please be aware however that Room 1 is the home of the St Alphege Preschool so is available to hire during evenings, weekends and holiday periods only.
Room 6 is perfect for classes, meetings or training sessions up to 30 people. Please note that Room 6 is located up a short flight of steps (see photo below).
All rooms benefit from the use of a professional kitchen for cold or hot use at additional charge.
If you’ve not previously visited our hall, we recommend booking to view the rooms/kitchen. Appointments are limited to the opening hours of the Parish Office, and availability for the rooms you wish to hire. The Oliver Bird Hall has full disabled access and facilities, however please note that Room 6 is only accessible by a short flight of steps.

We are situated at the junction of Church Hill Road and New Road. Solihull Station is 10 minutes’ walk away.

Viewings of the rooms/kitchen must be booked, and will be held during the office hours.
The Parish office is open from 9am till 1pm (Mon- Thurs) and 9am till 12noon on Fridays.
