Come and get involved in our activities for 11-18 year olds.

Revive

Every month on Sundays the Parish Youth gather as follows;
1st Sunday – Junction We worship with the congregation in the Oliver Bird hall at the 9.15am service, leave during the service for a youth bible activity session and/or St Michael, 10.30, Our young people have a discussion of faith in other parts of the world over a breakfast local to that area of discussion, before re-joining the congregation for communion.  
2nd Sunday – We worship with the congregation at the All Age service at St Alphege at 9.15am in church. Youth serve and help with the running of the service. 
3rd Sunday – We worship with the congregation at St Alphege Junction Service at 9.15am, meeting in the Oliver Bird Hall.
4th & 5th Sunday – We worship with the congregation at St Helen’s 10am service meeting in the youth room for a bible activity session before re-joining with the congregation for communion.

Relax

A fellowship group meeting on Mondays giving young people the opportunity to relax, play games, have fun and chat. Every week in Room 6 of the Oliver Bird Hall, 7-9pm for year 9+

Junior Refresh

A bible based activity group meeting fortnightly on Wednesdays at 6:30-7:30pm for year 6,7, and 7:30-8:30pm for years 8 in Room 6 at the Oliver Bird Hall.

Refresh

A bible-based activity group meeting fortnightly on Wednesdays at 7-8.30pm for year 9+ in the Youth Room at the Oliver Bird Hall.

Reflect

A space to chill out on a Friday after a busy week; to think about God, life, ourselves and the world. 6-7.30pm pizza, games and fun, followed by devotion and prayer until 8.30pm. In the Room 6 at the Oliver Bird Hall for year 6+. 

Film club

On the 1st Saturday of the month we meet in the Room 6 at the Oliver Bird Hall 6.30-9pm to watch a film. All ages are welcome; bring your own snacks. After the film we have a discussion about faith and how the films message fits or doesn’t with the Christian message.                    

Social and events

We hold regular socials that include, Ice Skating, Bowling, Rock Climbing, Trampolining, games nights and much more. We also hold an annual Christmas ball. We organise annual festival visits and adventure camp trips.

Confirmation Course

As part of our youth programme, we run an annual Confirmation course with discussion and teaching on a range of faith and contemporary topics throughout the year, and towards March/April young people are given the option of being confirmed.
